The convention officially kicks off on Friday, May 6th, with the Opening Ceremony. Friday events include the vendor exhibit, training classes, a Friday night mixer with refreshments provided featuring a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. The mixer will also feature a guest speaker: Chief Jason Hoevelmann with the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District. Saturday will begin with the national anthem followed by the contest games and the fire department parade. The vendor exposition continues through Saturday morning.
