Jessica spoke on how we will be needed to help with a couple of events.

The first event will be Missouri Fire Service Charity BBQ Smoke-Out 2021 which will be held at the Parkade parking lot in Columbia on July 31st. There will be sampler cards sold for $20 and meal tickets sold for $10. The profits that are raised will be donated to the Firefighter Cancer Support Network and the Missouri Firefighter Museum in Kingdom City, Missouri. They would like the auxiliary help to serve the food. Jessica Miller posted a signup list on the FFAM Auxiliary Members Group page for helping to serve the food at the cookoff from 11 to 6. Jessica will be the contact person for servers.

The second event will be Patriot Day that will be in Jefferson City on September 11th. It will be an all-day event starting with a 5K run, a parade, and then the 2021 Stair Climb. They are asking for the auxiliary to help serve food that will be sold. Pulled pork sandwiches & chips and pulled pork nachos will be served in front of Sellinger Center at St. Peters Church across from the MO State Capital. The profits for the food that is sold will go towards the Firefighters Memorial in Kingdom City.
