I will leave the District 11 portion of the newsletter to my assistant Josh. I will tell you the committee has been trying to get ready for the 2020 State Fair. President Hoover is going to get an appointment with the fair director.
Carissa Thompson has agreed to run the kitchen during the State Fair. If you are interested in helping in the kitchen please send in a fair application. Mother Joyce, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Mattox will be there to help out, but new blood is needed to help out and learn the operation. They will prepare lunch and dinner. Breakfast will be prepared by fire and or ems crews. I will set up a kitchen patrol shift schedule. We will need everyone’s assistance to make this run smooth.
We need help in all areas for the fair. The application deadline is June 1, 2020. Hope to see everyone at Kearney May 1-3. It will be a good weekend. Be safe out there.
