Knob Noster Fire Department Update

The Knob Noster Fire Department (KNFD) has recently recognized some of the department’s members for “Being There” for the department and community during 2018.

KNFD’s Top Performer award is given to a member of the department for all around performance, training and attendance throughout the year. The service these members provided to the Department during public relation events, sporting event standbys, Fire Prevention Programs, not to mention their training and call responses are invaluable to the Knob Noster Fire Department and the Community of Knob Noster.

The 2018 Top Performers

Lieutenant Tim Merrill, Fire Fighter Grant Woollums, Fire Fighter Tim Doyle, Assistant Chief Ben Fundaburg, and not pictured are Captain Steven Ashbridge, Fire Fighter Kyle Lawler, and Fire Fighter Benjamin Burd.

Our 2018 Rookie of the Year was presented to Fire Fighter Tim Doyle for his dedicated service to the community. Firefighter Doyle came to this department with little experience and proved that with a lot of hard work, dedication, and training, he could became a very valuable member of the KNFD team.

Fire Prevention Presentations

Knob Noster Fire Department makes eight fire prevention presentations during Fire Prevention Week. Lieutenant Tim Merrill and Fire Fighter Nathan McIntyre are pictured making presentations and giving a tour of Engine 411. Captain Steven Ashbridge scheduled the programs and made presentations at different schools and preschools.
