We presented four high school students with $1,000 scholarships and two Continuing Education recipients with $500 scholarships at the 2019 FFAM Convention in Sedalia, Missouri.
High School Scholarships
Sarah Betherum from Fair Grove High School and a member of the Fair Grove FPD. She plans to attend Ozark Technical Community College.
Hannah Cole from Farmington High School. She plans to enroll at Missouri University in Columbia.
Ethan Ralls from Hale High School and a member of the Hale FPD and the Missouri State Fair FD. He plans to enroll at North Central Missouri College.
Travis Young from Wellington-Napoleon High School and a member of the Wellington-Napoleon FPD. He plans to enroll at Metropolitan Community College.
Continuing Education Scholarships
Madison Breid from Madison, a member of Madison West Monroe FD and the Missouri State Fair FD. She is enrolled at the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Christian Van Dyke from Kingsville and a member of Johnson County FPD #2 is planning to attend Fort Osage Career and Technology and enroll in Firefighter 1 & 2.
The Scholarship Committee wishes to congratulate all the winners and wishes them the best of luck. This scholarship is awarded to members of the FFAM or family members each year.
