Nearly thirty firefighters from Randolph and Chariton Counties participated in a two day Vehicle Extrication Technician class held in Cario, Missouri, at Northeast R-IV Rural Fire Protection District. Firefighters from Eastern Randolph County, Higbee Area, Northeastern R-IV Rural, Salisbury, Southeastern Randolph County and Westran Fire Protection Districts worked to improve and learn new techniques in rescuing victims in a motor vehicle accident. The class was taught by instructors in Region B for the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute.
