West Peculiar Fire sponsored the MU FRTI School Bus Rescue class on August 23 and 24. There were 15 participants from 3 different agencies. The class was funded by a grant from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety. The bus was provided by Easley’s Auto Auction in Orrick, MO and transported by GT Tow, both free of charge.
We will also be hosting the MU FRTI Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Techniques for Structural Firefighters course on Saturday, November 22 at West Peculiar Fire Station 1.
West Peculiar Fire will be hosting a Cass County Fire School with instructors from all over the Kansas City area on October 10 and 11. We will be offering lectures on Friday night and hands-on-training of Saturday. Check out our Facebook page for more information.
